Camembert au Calvados is a delicacy of France only produced in the region of Normandy. Camembert is a soft white creamy cheese with a unique production technique. The rind is removed from a semi ready cheese and then soaked in Calvados alcohol. The semi-cured cheese is then inserted inside the Calvados infused rind, then freshly baked bread crumbs and crushed walnuts are pushed onto the cheese. The texture of Camembert au Calvados cheese is very creamy and has a delightful apple aroma.
