All perishable goods are sent in special protective packs via couriers so the goods reach you in perfect condition.

COURIER OPTIONS:

Next day by 5pm (STANDARD COURIER £12.95) This service leaves our premisis in the evening and will arrive at your door by 5pm the following day (Monday to Thursday)

Next day by12pm (PRIORITY COURIER £21.95) This service leaves our premisis in the evening and will arrive at your door by 12pm (midday) the following day (Monday to Thursday)


POSTAL OPTIONS:

1. Large postal boxes (30x22x9 cm) STANDARD POST £6.25. All boxes go out first class post but are not trackable. N.B. Royal Mail do not guarantee a next day service. Often the post service takes between 1-3 days. All items are protected in bubble wrap and the box is filled with filler for extra protection. Please note that these boxes will not fit through letter boxes, so please ensure you are at home when the postman arrives to avoid disappointment. WE WILL ONLY SEND PRODUCTS OUT BY POST IF THEY ARE NON PERISHABLE, SO THAT THEY ARRIVE IN A SUITABLE CONDITION.


SAME DAY LONDON DELIVERIES: £30

1. Finest Gouret Food offers you a same day delivery at a cost of £30 within CENTRAL LONDON only.

CHOICE AND RATES OF DELIVERY

 We use DHL as our courier and Royal Mail as postal carrier.

 We have our own motorcycles for delivery in Central London, and we use taxis for special orders.

 

HOW WE PACK OUR DIFFFERENT PRODUCTS.

FROZEN:

All frozen products are packed in thermo containers and are kept frozen by ice sheets designed to keep foods frozen for 24 hours +.

PERISHABLE :

Chilled, perishable items such as Caviar, fresh fish, fresh meat etc are packed in thermo containers and are sent out with ice sheets which are designed to keep all perishable products cool and the temperature under 5 degrees for 30 hours +.

DRY GOODS:

Dry goods such as oils, nuts, lentils etc are wrapped in bubble wrap(where necessary) and packed in cardboard postal boxes. They are then filled with filler for extra protection, and sealed with tape, so they can not be tampered with by a third party.

 

DELIVERY SCHEDULE:

We offer a next day service for many of our products. There are however certain products that we do not have in stock.(Please read the text description or call us if you are unsure about the delivery time for a certain product).

We aim to process your order the same day we recieve it, providing it has been placed by 12pm Monday to Thursday. Any orders placed after 12pm on Thursday or any time on Friday will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery, If you have a special request, please email us at eric@finestgourmetfood.co.uk and we will do our best to cater to your request.

 

PLACING YOUR ORDER:

Once you have placed your order online on this website, your credit/debit card will be debited on pressing the confirm order button in the check out.

 

ORDER DESPATCH:

Once your order has been packed, and despatched, we will send you a dispatch confirmation, and you should recieve it in accordance with the delivery method you chose.

 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER:

If you need to track your order, please just give us a call and we will be happy to advise you on the whereabouts of your order.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER:

Please make sure that someone is at home to receive and sign for your delivery. DHL drivers will not leave your parcel without a signature. It is essential therefore that someone is there to receive your delivery. If no one is at home when the driver arrives, he will leave a card notifying you that he/she attempted a delivery, and that your products have been returned to the DHL warehouse. You will need to make arrangements to either collect it or get it redelivered the following day.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES CAUSED BECAUSE  A DELIVERY HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE DHL WAREHOUSE.

AVAILABILITY AND STOCK:

Please note that because of the nature of our business, we can’t guarantee availability of every item on our menu. There are times that certain products are out of stock, out of season, or not available.

There are certain products on our menu that we buy from various countries in Europe and therefore need to be ordered in advance. Please read the descriptive text which will tells you if there is a lead time on a certain product. If you have any queries about any product please do not hesitate to contact us.
